The Department of Ecotechnology and Sustainable Building Engineering is located at Mid Sweden University, Campus Östersund. The department conducts research and education in the following subjects: Ecotechnology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, and Building Technology.
The department of Ecotechnology and Sustainable Building Engineering does research on sustainable development which is an important issue for authorities, companies and organzations in our region.
We are researching ecotechnology and environmental science and deal with interdisciplinary study of human societies in interaction with nature. We place special emphasis on the development of new systems for long-term sustainable development of new systems for long-term sustainable use of natural resources.
